'Rooted Poems'

I feel like I need to explain the title of my blog:

'Rooted Poems' comes from my love of writing about nature and all things natural.  The age old argument of whether art complements nature or degrades it really interests me.  I am of the belief that art is rooted in nature; it is something which is there, and artists have the task of pulling it out. 

Most of my poetry relates to nature and the attempt of pulling something artistic out of something natural, or finding something natural in something man made. 

I believe nature is everywhere, and my poems are Rooted in it.
